Hey there, I'm Jodie and my hubby + I live in Southern Texas with our 3 kiddos, 2 cats (Pumpkin and Daisy), and our dog Chloe. A few years ago, I started making soap as a fun hobby, after making candles for over 20 years I thought this would be fun!! I totally fell in love with it and with using all-natural ingredients. So, we thought, why not share our awesome natural soap with others who want to keep it clean?
Simply Made by Jodie was born out of my passion for natural skincare and desire to create effective and eco-friendly products. I use essential, natural colorants, and botanicals to craft unique and luxurious skincare items that nourish the skin and awaken the senses. My commitment to sustainability and ethical practices is evident in my use of natural ingredients and eco-friendly packaging. Our Products
We use natural ingredients in our products to avoid chemicals that can disrupt hormones and potentially cause cancer. Our handcrafted soap contains glycerin, which adds moisture and creates silky smooth skin. We use essential oils and natural purees/ingredients to add scent to our soaps.
Our Process
I employ the hot process technique which involves allowing the ingredients to cure in the mold for 24 hours after saponification The bars are then cut and left to cure for an additional week to complete saponification and harden for longevity.
Our Reason
We create handmade, all-natural soaps to offer a product that is both gentle on the skin and environmentally friendly. By using only natural oils, butters, and essential oils, our soaps are free from harsh chemicals and synthetic additives, making them ideal for sensitive skin types. Each bar is rich in natural glycerin, which helps to moisturize and nourish the skin.
